Provide training to 30 students from PSE
Hello my friends and readers. I know it has been awhile that i haven't written my blog, but time passes very quickly and life is getting busier.
However, i have a good news to share with you. Another reason that i have been busy beside my studies and career, is that i met my lady and we are in love. Actually, i could have had posted a lot of update and photos of us, but to respect her and our privacy.... i wouldn't expose too much on the internet (ˆˆ,) though i know my good friends out there is excited and happy for me to hear this news, right? Thanks you guys for being my good friends over the years and being supportive. I miss everyone and hope to see you one day soon.
By the way, today i'm blogging about a nice gesture that our company has done for young students and i have this chance to participate. Today we provided a training to 30 students from PSE (Pour un Sourire d’Enfant).
PSE is an NGO for orphanage. Its full name is in french which is Pour un Sourire d’Enfant, in khmer is អង្គការដើម្បីភាពញញឹមន័យកុមារ. Our company the EUROTECH is having a strategy in Social Activities. At this time we have a participation with PSE which allow us the opportunity to help those students to gain experiences of what they have learned in school for real case. I am personally very grateful to be assigned in this responsibility which provide me the chance to do something good for the poors and orphans.

e-Learning on KM by APO
There are reasons that motivate me in joining Eurotech company.
Mainly, because it is the only drinking water in Cambodia that is recognized and certified by several standards that include, ISO 9001:2008, UK Quality Control, and Cambodia Water Standard. Moreover, the company integrates some other standards management system such as "5S, KAIZEN" and GMP.
Another reason, is that the company has been selected by certain productivity improvement organizations, so that they have a lot of training available for their staff. Those trainings usually conducted in various Asian countries.
Besides those professional motivations, i also have some personal objectives. I changed my job and join EUROTECH because i wish to be more dependent and further my career adventures.
These photos below are the e-learning course on Knowledge Management conducted at CJCC organized by Asian Productivity Organization (APO) on 09th-12th March 2010.
It was a great training. Not only the course is useful to apply at our organization to improve the productivity and growth, but it was an interacting class with 5 other classes in Iran, Mongolia, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Moreover, the resource speakers were online from Singapore, Phillipe, and Japan.

P&G's Leadership and Marketing
.jpg)
The College of Management in collaboration with Goodhill Enterprise hosting a presentation on "Leadership and Marketing" by Mr. Samuel S. Kim, Regional Vice-President of Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the UC Conference Centre.
The first thing i was impressed was the Potato chip. At the registration desk, they give each participant a long can of potato chip. No doubt it is one of the P&G products, but i think it's a little expensive to do so as there were about two hundreds students attended the workshop. Beside the potato i saw a long table of snacks and drinks to be served for refreshing.
The presentation was very interesting, plus Mr. KIM shared us his experiences in leadership and marketing which was very useful and inspired me somehow. After his presentation, there were challenging questions raised by the students. I am so glad and proud of our Cambodia students today is so brave and intelligent. The Korean man Mr. KIM and his people who came along with him, genuinely admired the students.

Eurotech ISO Certification
Firstly, let me express myself. I am thankful for you, my friends who always care to keep update with me as well as reading my blog. I appreciate that!
I am excited to write this post about my best friend Jerry (actually he's my nephew), of his achievement and the success of his business. I am so proud of him as a young businessman, or I may say "businessboy" (",)
On the 27th of December, he arranged an event at Phnom Penh Hotel. It was about his company Eurotech Drinking Water is certified for ISO 9001:2000, the International Production Quality
So sad that I could not attend the event, because on that day I had to go to Siem Reap to attend another of my nephew's wedding. However, I helped him for some tasks also. We always help each other, and treat for lunch or dinner. Anyway, it's not about treating but we just love to hang out. hehe. Most of the time I help him with graphic designs, and he helps me for IT. That are our specialists of skills :-)
My Scottist best friend Daniel, also involved in the help for the event. During the event, they played a video of their production at their factory, which in the video Daniel was a presenter. The video was made about one year ago, but we just got to see it now. It is funny that in the video, Daniel was sounded in Khmer language. Please see the video at the below of this blog.
Now let me give a brief description about the event agenda:
1- The event starts at 4PM for guests registration
2- GM of the Eurotech company gives a welcome speech and begins the event
3- During the reception, there were performances of singing, dancing and catwalk
4- Guests can join fun games to win some prizes
5- GM gives introduction of the company, products and ISO certification
6- Withdrawing lucky draws, there are 50 prizes. The biggest prizes are Refrigerator and 29" Color TV
Alright, now enjoy the photos and videos below with description!
During Jerry's speech, he showed the video of Eurotech production on a large screen. You can see the video(s) on the bottom of this blog.
My best friend Jerry, the GM of Eurotech Drinking Water company, giving his speech and impressed the audiences with his products. In the right photo are the MCs of the event.
The guests had chances to win a prize out of the 50 prizes. The prizes included Refrigerator, 29" TV, Cooler, Cookers, Digital Cameras.....and so and so.
In the middle is Mark, my friend and GM at my company. The pretty girl on the right, is Jerry's youngest sister in law.
Do you notice the standee picture at the back? It's me and my sister. hehe.
There are many of my pictures everywhere during the event. Those standees, will be placed in front of shops in Phnom Penh after the event.Yay!
There were girl models performed catwalk and showing Eurotech's products. In the next photo, is the Singaporean man from ISO organization giving his speech in English and Chandravy translating. She is Jerry's wife. Not forget to mention that she's pregnant, yay! I will have a grand nephew!!! (@.@)
During the reception, there were singers and dancers performing to entertain the guests.

Maintaining Development into WTO
On the above date, i attended a workshop about "Maintaining Development into WTO" which was organized by Economy Institute of Cambodia (EIC) and supported by CUTS International. It was great that the workshop took place at Cambodiana Hotel which is a 5 stars class.
I enjoyed it a lot, not only that i liked the 5 stars hotel services but also had that opportunity to join such a formal and educational event. At the beginning i was kinda nervous too actually. I was guided to sit at the first row next to the panel.
It was a whole day workshop from 8:30 to 5:00. There was two coffee breaks and lunch at the hotel.
The topics on that day were:
1- "Cambodia's Economy WTO accession after 5 years" by Mr. Neou Seiha, Senior Researcher, Economic Institute of Cambodia.
2- "Aid for Trade/Trade SWAP" by Mr. Hang Sochivin, Ministry of Commerce.
3- "Integrating Cambodia's Development Strategy into Multi-Trade Strategy" by Mr. Tekreth Samrach, Council of Minister.
4- "Cambodia Global Economy and Commodity Prices" by Mrs. Kim Natacha, Editor-in-Chief of Economics Today Magazine.
5- "Trade and Poverty Reduction" by Mr. Neou Seiha.
At the end of each session we had discussion and Q&A.
Gina and the other students in the conference room.

Me and Sochan my old friend from the university. We are getting along well recently and hang out sometimes.

My co-worker and I were sent to Vietnam 3 days and 2 nights to attend my company’s partner’s symposium.
