We usually can see there are many booths of moon cakes retailers on the streets one month before the Moon Festival day. But this year seem so quiet. There are a few booths only and the sellers sitting like hopeless.
Anyway, we got many boxes of Moon Cakes from Vietnam. They look very nice and smell so yummy (^^,)

Water Festival 2008
On the 11th to 13th it was our Water Festival which is the most busiest event of the year. There are so many people come from the provinces. Most people still like to come for the event but some people like me tried to escape from this crowded holiday. hehe

Chinese Ghost Festival
SUNDAY, APRIL 06, 2008
Traditionally, Cheng Meng or Ghost Festival is a Chinese tradition that the families and relatives together go to the tomb of their relative who had passed away.
This year I went to my grandma’s tomb with my family. However, my sister and her husband couldn’t come because they were at his grandma’s funeral. It was awful that my brother-in-law’s grandma had to be in a different world. She lived in France and she requested to return to Cambodia since she was ill. After she arrived her home country for a month, she then started to stay in bed for a few months until last Friday night.
After my we had done the traditional duties at my grandma’s tomb, we went to join our relatives at the tomb of our great grand parents. It was my first time to join them, but it was nice to see many of my relatives at once. Some of us hadn’t met each other for longer than a year because we are at different places and even provinces. It was funny that we got to introduce each other to our new families and new children.

Children having fun with this task. We cover the tomb with the color papers as it means to roof the tomb.

Many people and many cars.

Time to eat! I like it, yay!

This task is also fun for children. We burn money, clothes, gold... all made of paper, we beleive the ghost can receive this offer by we burning them.

My Business on Water Festival
THURSDAY-SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22-25, 2007
This is the second year that I helped Jerry promote and expose his products and brand.
During the Water Festival 23rd to 25th EuroTech Drinking Water company had four booths at different places. I chose the biggest booth which was three booths together. My partner is my nephew had his friends came to help us. There were 5 guys of his friends and 1 guy was Kompeak my new friend, and the other 3 girls. They are all nice friends, they helped us all their ability and not lazy.
We became friends and we had a lot fun, connected, activities, fun to eat and drink......... I like them, they were very good sellers and funny, especially the girls and her little sister and brother, they are just kids but they are brave, fun and are good sellers.
On the first and second day we slept at 12am. On the third day my team-mates slept at 2am, while i was busy until 4:30am. Now i'm so tired and my voice has changed because had been spoken too much to the customers.
There were so many things left in the coolers when we closed. Thus, i gave all of them to my team-mates, and also the guards and poor people ;-)
